Reconstruction of the estate

The former abandoned rest house of Pravda Publishing House, situated on Olga’s acquired Platonova Platonovsky section, served as a gathering place for the Soviet elite. He was in such a terrible shape that he needed worldwide reconstruction rather than repair. The documentation process proved challenging because this roughly one-hectare plot of land was not meant for individual building.

Notwithstanding the challenges that were in place, Platonova was able to progressively overcome each one. It has taken two years for the territory’s status to change. The TV host also created a reconstruction work plan that comprised the following:

• demolition of the old dining room;
• Speasing of a weed;
• restoration of dilapidated extensions and peeling concrete fence.

The dining room was replaced with two sizable arbors. The central corps was covered with a stone and supported by a pair of semi-fond, which formed the main structure of the home. The former publishing house’s sports corps was converted into a guest building and furnished with a winter garden, a studio, a water park, and a homemade movie theater right away.

The first floor of the mansion

The building’s tiny rooms were initially connected to one another, and the walls were torn down. A guest area and a personal area separated the entire area.

Olga Platonova’s new mansion’s first floor now houses the following:

• billiard.

The living room occupies the center of the building; no ceiling floors connect to the second floor. This is where the so-called second light is arranged. This offers the area flexibility, lightness, and airiness.

A massive chandelier with candlesticks, crystal, and forged elements adorns the ceiling. You can ascend the enormous oak staircase in the living room, which was designed by a red and ordered by Platonova. The same master’s exquisitely carved railing encloses the design.

The dining area and living room are adjacent, and the entryway was initially embellished with two sizable metal pillars that were adorned with real stone. An intriguing, modern lamp that can be adjusted in height illuminates the space.

The dining room and kitchen are divided by a balustrade that is a replica of the one that Olga Platonova had in her former home. An antique buffet in the kitchen grabs attention right away; its hostess bought it in Holland. There are no décor pieces unnoticed by curious onlookers: a special porcelain vase, uncommon hours.

Fascinating! Six large bookcases make up Olga Platonova’s library; two of them are replicas of 19th-century models, the other three are copies.

The natural silk from the Pavlovsky Posad is used to trim the walls of the billiard room, giving the space a luxurious and refined appearance. The hands on the doors are fashioned after palace fixtures that their mistress purchased from an antique store.

Second floor

The bedroom of Platonova is on the second floor. Additionally, the space is trimmed with a traditional pattern of dark green natural silk fabric. When paired with the lining, the fabric finish has an odd appearance.

A magnificent chandelier from the Czech Republic lights the space; it was modified because the original copy was too tall. Olga purchased a smaller frame and created a new apparatus herself.

A massive bed is situated within a wooden doorway, flanked by two elegantly crafted bedside tables with mirrors suspended above. The bedrooms’ walls are adorned with fringe and fabric suspensions.
